Ceigall India Ltd has been awarded a ₹1,700 crore contract by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Ltd for developing a 220 MW project at Morena Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh. The project incorporates solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) under a tariff-based system with a rate of ₹2.70 per kWh, to be completed in 24 months.

Concurrently, ACME Solar Holdings has also received a letter of award for a 220 MW solar project with BESS from the same entity, which is part of a larger 440 MW tender, at a tariff of ₹2.764 per unit, expected to be operational by December 31, 2027. Both projects highlight a growing investment in renewable energy in Madhya Pradesh.
