Celeste IOD-1 Satellite Arrives at Rocket Lab Launch Complex in New Zealand
Celeste IOD-1, developed by GMV and Alén Space under ESA's Celeste In-Orbit Demonstrator program, has arrived at Rocket Lab's Launch Complex 1 in Māhia, New Zealand for a planned launch at the end of February. The program aims to enhance navigation capabilities in low Earth orbit to complement existing systems. The satellite was declared ready for flight on February 8 after successful testing and validation.

After being declared flight-ready on February 8, it underwent careful packing and transportation. The mission includes a total of eleven satellites, and IOD-1 will undergo final launch operations along with IOD-2 in the coming weeks.
