Cellnex Sells French Data Center Business Towerlink France to Vauban Infra Fibre for €391 Million
Cellnex has sold its French data center business, Towerlink France, to Vauban Infra Fibre for €391 million, representing a 99.99 percent ownership stake. This divestment is part of Cellnex's strategy to focus on its core telecom infrastructure and improve its balance sheet for future investments across Europe. The company has previously sold other assets, including its Irish and Austrian operations, for significant amounts.

Cellnex has finalized the sale of its French data center business, Towerlink France, to Vauban Infra Fibre's IFSP6 Trinity for €391 million ($463 million). This sale involves 99.99 percent ownership of Towerlink France, which handles Cellnex's primary data center operations in France.
The transaction aligns with Cellnex's strategic roadmap to concentrate on its core telecom infrastructure business, enhancing its balance sheet and funding further investment in its European network. In recent years, Cellnex has divested various assets, including its Irish business for €971 million and its Austrian tower unit for €803 million. Vauban Infra Fibre operates over 13 million FTTH connectable lines across various areas.
