Centralny Port Komunikacyjny Plans Hydrogen Fuel Infrastructure for New Airport in Poland
Centralny Port Komunikacyjny is inviting companies to discuss hydrogen fuel infrastructure as part of its investment in a new national airport, aiming to reduce emissions and diversify energy sources. The project aligns with the energy transition in the airport sector and includes a focus on low-emission technologies. Consultations start on February 25, 2026, with construction of the airport terminal beginning in 2026 and the facility expected to be operational by 2032.

Centralny Port Komunikacyjny is initiating consultations for hydrogen fuel infrastructure at a new national airport, aiming to reduce emissions and diversify energy sources for vehicles. Investments in low-emission technologies are intended to enhance the airport's competitiveness.
The consultations will begin on February 25, 2026. The airport construction, part of the Port Polska strategic investment program to integrate transport in Central Europe, will start in 2026 with terminal construction. The airport is projected to be operational by 2032, alongside the high-speed rail line connecting Warsaw and Łódź, with completion of the underground station by 2029.
