CGN's 1.5 Million kW Wind-Solar-Hydrogen Project Approved in Inner Mongolia
CGN's 1.5 million kW wind-solar-hydrogen project in Inner Mongolia has received preliminary approval from the Energy Bureau, involving a 7.5 billion yuan investment. The project will feature 1 million kW of wind power, 500,000 kW of photovoltaic power, and a 225,000 kW energy storage system, aiming to produce 49,900 tons of hydrogen annually while generating 3.3 billion kWh of electricity and significantly reducing carbon emissions. This initiative is set to bolster local new energy consumption and promote the green hydrogen industry.

CGN's 1.5 million kW wind-solar-hydrogen project in Inner Mongolia has passed preliminary review by the Energy Bureau. The project, with a 7.5 billion yuan investment, includes 1 million kW wind power, 500,000 kW photovoltaic power, and a 225,000 kW energy storage system.
It aims for an annual hydrogen production of 49,900 tons and is expected to generate 3.3 billion kWh of electricity, saving 1 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 2.76 million tons. It supports local new energy consumption and the green hydrogen industry development.
