Chakana Copper Completes Acquisition of La Joya Project from Barrick Peru
Chakana Copper Corp. has acquired 100% ownership of the La Joya Project in Peru from Minera Barrick Peru S.A. for 4,130,312 shares and a 2% Net Smelter Royalty. This acquisition enhances Chakana's exploration capabilities, with multiple high-grade mineralization targets confirmed in the project's three principal areas.

Chakana Copper Corp. has finalized an agreement to acquire the La Joya Project, specifically the Libelula concessions, from Minera Barrick Peru S.A. This acquisition includes the issuance of 4,130,312 common shares to Barrick and establishes a 2% Net Smelter Royalty.
The La Joya Project, located in Ancash, Peru, consists of three target areas with significant mineralization potential for copper and precious metals. Exploration results have indicated high-grade silver and gold mineralization, with advanced drilling planned across these targets.
The completion of the acquisition is pending approval from the TSX Venture Exchange. The project holds potential for increased investor interest and further exploration activities in the region.
