Chandra Asri's CIRCLO© Plastic Asphalt Supports Indo Raya Tenaga's Road Construction
Chandra Asri Group's CIRCLO© recycled plastic is being used in the road construction of Indo Raya Tenaga's coal-fired power plant. The initiative diverts 3,200 kg of plastic waste from landfills and enhances asphalt's strength. CIRCLO© has been in commercial production since 2025, with marketing managed by PT Chandra Trading Nusantara. This collaboration reflects a commitment to circular economy practices in waste management and aims to improve infrastructure sustainability.

Chandra Asri Group's recycled plastic product CIRCLO© is utilized in the road construction at Indo Raya Tenaga's Java 9 & 10 coal-fired power plant. This plastic asphalt mixture diverts up to 3,200 kg of plastic waste from landfills and enhances asphalt strength.
CIRCLO© has been produced since 2025 through collaboration with recycling partners and is marketed by PT Chandra Trading Nusantara. The initiative aligns with sustainable practices in infrastructure development and aims to improve road durability, as supported by a 2017 study from the Public Works Ministry. CIRCLO© promotes the circular economy by integrating informal sectors and local communities in the recycling process.
