Charbone Expands Helium Delivery Fleet Amid Supply Shortages
Charbone Corporation has increased its helium delivery fleet from one to five units in response to heightened demand and market disruptions. This expansion aims to provide reliable domestic helium supplies for critical sectors like healthcare and semiconductor manufacturing.

Charbone Corporation has expanded its helium delivery fleet to five units to meet rising demand amid global supply shortages. The company's helium division, operational since 2025, has secured long-term customer commitments through 2028, insulating its North American operations from international price volatility caused by geopolitical disruptions, particularly in Qatar.
Recent developments include the addition of 22 new customers in Quebec and the capability to further increase the fleet size. Charbone's strategic positioning allows it to capture market share from competitors, facilitating future opportunities for cross-selling other gases. The company is currently engaged in continuous production at its hydrogen plant in Sorel-Tracy, while also focusing on strengthening its North American investor relations with IMPAQ.
