Chariot Confirms Spodumene in Nigerian Lithium Projects Fonlo and Iganna
Chariot Resources has validated the presence of spodumene in all samples from its Fonlo and Iganna projects in Nigeria, following independent analysis by the University of British Columbia. This confirmation supports the company's strategic focus on lithium-caesium-tantalum pegmatite systems for future metallurgical testwork and exploration activities.

Chariot Resources has confirmed spodumene in all six verification samples from its Fonlo and Iganna projects in Nigeria, with concentrations ranging from 28.4 wt% to 75.3 wt%. The findings, conducted by the University of British Columbia, also identified lithium oxide grades between 2.66% and 5.96%.
The presence of pollucite, a caesium mineral, supports previous geochemical assays indicating elevated caesium signatures. Chariot plans to integrate these insights into metallurgical testwork and advance geological targeting.
The company's 66.67% interest in the projects is part of a four-project portfolio covering 254 square kilometers. The Nigerian Government's approval of mining licences has further de-risked these assets, enhancing prospects for successful development.
