China Energy Engineering Corporation's Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park has produced over 10,000 tons of green ammonia since its official commissioning on December 16, 2025. This milestone marks a transition to large-scale commercial applications in the hydrogen energy industry.

The project serves as a model for developing China's green and low-carbon sectors. It has received ISCC EU green certification and signed the first global contract for green ammonia shipping fuel. Future plans include establishing a million-ton-level green liquid fuel base in Songyuan and a hydrogen energy industrial base valued in the tens of billions of yuan.
