China Energy Investment Corporation (CEIC) has formed a new Hydrogen Energy Business Unit, reflecting its commitment to the hydrogen energy sector. CEIC has significantly increased the registered capital of its Hydrogen Energy Company twice since 2024: first, from 50 million yuan to 188 million yuan in February 2024, marking a 276% year-on-year increase, and then from 188 million yuan to 661 million yuan in June 2025, which represents a 252% year-on-year increase.
