China has created an integrated environmental monitoring network comprising approximately 150 satellites, enabling extensive ecological oversight. The network features a newly launched satellite capable of high-precision greenhouse gas detection, marking a significant advancement in global monitoring capabilities.
The Ministry oversees eight operational environmental satellites and coordinates data from over 140 additional satellites for comprehensive environmental assessments. Concurrently, the China National Space Administration is promoting commercial space development, focusing on sectors like in-space manufacturing.
