China Launches Integrated Hydropower and Solar Project with 5.43 MW Capacity
Huaning Group has initiated its first integrated hydropower and solar power project in Yunnan Province, China, with a total capacity of 5.43 million kilowatts. This project aims to enhance clean energy generation and stability in the national grid.

Huaning Group's new project combines hydropower and solar power, achieving a total installed capacity of 5.43 million kilowatts, comprising 4.2 million kilowatts from hydropower and 1.23 million kilowatts from solar sources. The intelligent control technology facilitates the collection of green electricity from 16 photovoltaic plants, ensuring efficient distribution alongside the Xiaowan Hydropower Station.
Once operational, the project is projected to generate 20 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, servicing around seven million households and aiming to cut carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 16 million tons each year. This development represents a significant advancement in self-regulating clean energy technologies in China.
