China Launches Major Clean Energy and Tech Projects to Kick Off 15th Five-Year Plan
China has initiated a series of major projects focusing on clean energy, technology, and public welfare, marking the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30). In Sichuan Province, 66 projects worth 2.6 billion yuan aim to enhance high-quality development, including the Yebatan hydropower station. Meanwhile, Shanghai's districts have launched projects totaling over 62.6 billion yuan, targeting various industrial sectors. Local governments are implementing measures to boost investment and stabilize economic growth.

Following the Spring Festival, China has commenced significant projects aligned with the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), focusing on clean energy, technology, and public welfare. In Sichuan Province, 66 projects, including hydropower and integrated power development, involve 2.6 billion yuan in investment.
The Yebatan hydropower station is set to generate 5.119 billion kWh annually. Shanghai's districts initiated projects exceeding 62.6 billion yuan, promoting health, green energy, and advanced materials. These efforts aim to expand investment, stimulate growth, and enhance employment amidst a structural economic shift.
