Chon-Alai District to Construct Thermal Power Plant Under PPP with Volt Hash KG
A thermal power plant is set to be built in Chon-Alai district through a public-private partnership, addressing the region's electricity deficit. The project aims to enhance digital infrastructure and create jobs while boosting energy security.

The Chon-Alai district in the Osh region will see a new thermal power plant constructed through a public-private partnership. Volt Hash KG LLC, a private company with foreign investment, is the project initiator responsible for construction and management.
The power plant will initially develop a capacity of 10-20 megawatts, expanding to 200 megawatts, utilizing combined-cycle technologies and advanced emission controls. The project also features a digital infrastructure, including a data center and monitoring systems.
This initiative is expected to improve regional infrastructure and energy security while providing new employment opportunities. However, the success of the project depends on effective management and timely execution.
