Chubut Secures $3.3B Investment for Digital Infrastructure Hub
Chubut's government is advancing a $3.3 billion investment to establish a digital hub, enhancing the region's infrastructure. This initiative aims to position Chubut as a key player in Argentina's digital economy while attracting international capital and expertise.

Chubut plans a $3.3 billion Data Center in Trelew, enhancing its digital infrastructure through fiber optic installation. This project, part of the 'Chubut Hub Digital 2030' initiative, aims to solidify the province as a leading digital and energy hub in Patagonia, supported by the National Communications Entity (ENACOM) and tech companies.
The investment is expected to create jobs and attract international interest, particularly in sustainable energy. The provincial government is collaborating with national authorities to expedite the investment process and ensure a favorable legal framework through the Regime of Incentives for Large Investments (RIGI). Chubut, with its renewable energy resources and skilled workforce, is positioned for significant growth in the digital sector.
