Chunghwa Telecom Unveils Vision for AI-Driven Growth and Sustainability by 2026
Chunghwa Telecom has established a new vision, 'Igniting the Future with AI,' focusing on digital resilience, smart empowerment, and sustainability. By 2026, the company aims to enhance AI deployment, build a distributed AIDC infrastructure, and empower various industries.
The strategic development guidelines include advancing technology, expanding business, and extending its footprint to drive revenue growth. The company plans to strengthen cybersecurity and integrate IOWN's All Photonics Network with AI computing for a future transition to 6G by 2030.
Revenue for 2026 is projected to increase by NT$ 5.88–NT$7.57 billion, reaching NT$241.99–NT$243.68 billion, driven by mobile communication and data services. Operating costs are expected to rise by NT$6.54–NT$7.01 billion.
Capital expenditures for 2026 will increase to NT$31.91 billion, focusing on submarine cables, satellite networks, and cloud AI infrastructure. The company emphasizes transparency in its financial reporting.
