Cambridge Industries Group (CIG) and ml&s Group have established a Joint Venture (JV) in Dallas to scale the manufacturing of high-speed optical modules and Near-Packaged Optics (NPO) solutions. The JV is backed by a USD 30 million investment and aims to meet the rising demand for 800G and 1.6T products.

It will leverage ml&s's Swiss engineering capabilities alongside high-volume production in Mexico, enhancing the supply chain for North American data centers and AI infrastructure. The venture seeks to expand manufacturing capacity across North America to support the growing AI-driven demand.
