Cirba Solutions is progressing with its expansion at 265 Quarry Road SE in Lancaster, having invested over $400 million, supported by $82 million from the U.S. Department of Energy. The company operates three shifts daily and has increased its processing capacity for used lithium-ion batteries by more than three times since 2022.

Cirba plans to refine black mass into high-quality battery-grade salts at the Lancaster facility, contributing to the domestic supply chain. The company is currently hiring for various positions across all shifts, with about 300 employees in total across locations.
