Cirion Launches NaaS Connectivity Initiative in Latin America with Ciena and Carma
Cirion Technologies has initiated its Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) offering in Latin America to enhance enterprise connectivity. This solution leverages over 105,000 kilometers of fiber optic infrastructure, aiming to streamline service delivery and adapt to growing demands in cloud and AI applications.

Cirion Technologies has launched its Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) offering targeting enhanced enterprise connectivity in Latin America. Supported by over 105,000 kilometers of fiber optic infrastructure, the initial deployment focuses on automated connectivity for data centers, enabling rapid service provisioning via Cirion's customer portal.
The integration with Ciena's technology and Carma's API-based interfaces facilitates automated wavelength services and is designed to dynamically allocate resources without manual intervention. The NaaS approach is crucial for meeting the evolving demands of the digital economy, particularly in the context of rapidly growing cloud services, projected to reach US$125 billion by 2030. This innovation could significantly reshape traditional connectivity models, addressing the inefficiencies of fixed circuits and lengthy service changes.
