Cisco has integrated Splunk analytics into its Nexus Dashboard, enhancing data center and campus network management. This integration aims to speed up network fault detection, reduce root cause analysis times, and automate remediation processes.

Following Cisco's $28 billion acquisition of Splunk in March 2024, the integration enhances observability through the IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) package, which includes business monitoring, incident management, predictive analytics, and network topology monitoring. The Nexus Dashboard supports Nexus 9000 Series and Cisco 8000 Series switches and routers.
