Cisco Launches Cloud Control to Secure AI Infrastructure and Enhance IT Management
Cisco Systems Inc. has launched Cisco Cloud Control, a platform designed to manage and secure AI-enhanced IT environments. This strategic move addresses the industry's need for integrated security and operational efficiency amidst the rising complexities of AI deployment.

Cisco Cloud Control has commenced controlled availability in the United States, with global availability planned for later this year. The platform integrates networking, security, observability, and collaboration into a unified management environment to enhance operational efficiency as AI agents become prevalent in enterprise infrastructure.
Key features include Cisco AI Canvas for real-time collaboration and Cloud Control Studio for developing custom AI agents. Additionally, Cisco's new Live Protect technology applies security measures without downtime, while the company expands its zero trust architecture to AI agents.
The launch comes in response to the accelerated risk of AI-driven cyber threats, as enterprises face challenges in safeguarding assets and managing extensive telemetry data. Cisco aims to redefine IT operations through the 'AgenticOps' model, emphasizing the collaboration between human operators and AI systems.
