DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

Deltona Corporation is requesting Citrus County commissioners to rezone an additional 800 acres in Holder for industrial use, aiming to develop an industrial park that may include a data center. Currently, the company holds 557 acres zoned for industrial near Lecanto Highway and US-41.

The proposal could generate 2,500 construction jobs, 825 permanent jobs, and $105 million in property tax revenue.
