Citylink Data Center to Supply Heat to Wrocław's District Heating System
KOGENERACJA S.A. has signed a letter of intent with Citylink to utilize waste heat from a new data center in Wrocław. This initiative aims to enhance energy efficiency in district heating and leverage ICT sector advancements for sustainable energy solutions.

KOGENERACJA S.A., part of PGE Energia Ciepła, will collaborate with Citylink to harness waste heat from a new data center near Wrocław's Miejski Stadium. This project aligns with efforts to find effective heat sources and supports energy transformation and decarbonization in district heating.
The data center is designed for future expansion, enhancing its potential for heat recovery. The technology captures thermal energy generated by servers, repurposing it for municipal heating systems, reflecting a growing trend in Europe.
