The facility, operational since 1981, produced over 6 million AGM batteries in fiscal year 2025 alone and has received nearly $300 million in investments over the past 14 years. The workforce has expanded by 75%, now employing over 700 people. The factory will soon manufacture a new low-antimony AGM starter battery aimed at enhancing U.S. critical mineral independence.
