Clayco Launches Power and Energy Unit to Address Growing Energy Demand
Clayco, a Chicago-based construction firm, has launched a new unit, Power and Energy, to provide services in the energy sector. The unit aims to support the increasing electricity demand projected to grow by 15% to 20% by 2030 due to the expansion of data centers and manufacturing. Clayco anticipates $300 million in revenue by 2027 and is currently engaged in a solar and battery storage project in Illinois. The initiative focuses on integrated design and construction services to accelerate energy infrastructure development across the U.S.
