Clean TeQ Water has obtained a €5.06 million contract with Nyrstar for a DESALX wastewater treatment system in Belgium, supporting its European expansion. The contract encompasses €1.08 million for provisional services, with equipment delivery set for 2026 and early 2027.
This project marks the company's second major full-scale European initiative, moving from the engineering phase to full-scale delivery. The DESALX system targets sulphate and selenium removal, addressing strict environmental discharge regulations. Following recent contracts with Rio Tinto in Argentina and Sunrise Energy Metals, this agreement reinforces Clean TeQ's project pipeline and validates its MBIX technology in Europe, despite concerns over execution risks and cash flow reliance.
