CleanCore Solutions Commits $500M to AI Data Center Despite Cash Constraints
CleanCore Solutions has pledged $500 million toward a Minnesota data center project with Cerebras while facing significant cash limitations. The company's current financial state raises concerns about potential shareholder dilution and project funding viability.

CleanCore Solutions announced a commitment of up to $500 million for a Minnesota data center project in partnership with Cerebras, part of an estimated $800 million contract value. The company has approximately $4.1 million in cash and $169 million in accumulated deficit, which raises questions about its ability to fund the project without shareholder dilution.
CleanCore holds 79% of the joint venture and plans an initial contribution of $40 million, with additional calls extending into 2027. The funding strategy involves potential common-stock sales, but the mechanisms for dilution remain unclear. The announcement follows another AI venture in West Texas, indicating a strategic pivot towards AI infrastructure despite financial uncertainties.
