The facility will store 398 MWh of dispatchable power, providing flexible energy to the grid. A long-term contract with Public Service Company of Colorado ensures reliable power dispatch. The $261 million project, financed by a consortium of banks, aims to create nearly 80 local jobs and generate over $12 million in tax revenue for community services. The facility will also contribute $20,000 annually to local organizations.
