Clontarf Energy Engages Bolivia's YLB Amid Pro-Business Shift
Clontarf Energy is pursuing a memorandum of understanding with Bolivia's lithium company YLB to access brine samples. This engagement follows a recent election that has shifted Bolivia towards pro-business policies, aiming to attract foreign investment in energy sectors.

Clontarf Energy is currently in discussions with the newly appointed president of Yacimientos de Litio Bolivianos (YLB), Sergio Soliz Gomez, to advance its lithium brine strategy. The Bolivian government is expected to reform legislation to foster foreign investment in sectors including oil exploration and renewable energy.
Clontarf aims to secure a memorandum of understanding with YLB for access to bulk samples from the Coipasa and Uyuni brine deposits, which will be processed at the Next-ChemX pilot plant in India. The company is evaluating new project opportunities following a review of several deemed unsuitable. The shift in Bolivia's governmental stance may enhance Clontarf's investment prospects.
