Cloud Carib Invests $7M in Caribbean Data Sovereignty and AI Infrastructure Expansion
Cloud Carib is investing $7 million to enhance data sovereignty and infrastructure across the Caribbean, supported by Partners for Growth. The investment will lead to new data centers in Bermuda, Curaçao, and Guyana, augmenting existing facilities in several countries. This initiative aims to promote high-skill job creation, research, and development, including an AI lab in The Bahamas, while fostering regional partnerships and compliance with data protection regulations.

Cloud Carib is committing $7 million to expand its infrastructure in the Caribbean, focusing on data sovereignty and AI and cybersecurity improvements. This investment, supported by Partners for Growth, will establish new data center pods in Bermuda, Curaçao, and Guyana, supplementing existing sites in The Bahamas, Jamaica, Barbados, Panama, Ecuador, and Canada.
The project aims to meet growing demands for national data protection and compliance. Additionally, a state-of-the-art AI lab is planned in The Bahamas to foster regional technology development. Cloud Carib's expansion strategy will continue through 2026, enhancing regional partnerships and job creation.
