CLP and CNOOC Collaborate on Hong Kong's Green Energy Transition
CLP Holdings Limited and CNOOC have signed an MOU to advance low-carbon technologies in Hong Kong. This initiative aims to enhance the city's renewable energy projects and establish it as a green maritime fuel hub.

CLP Holdings Limited and China National Offshore Oil Corporation have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding to promote Hong Kong's transition to low-carbon energy. The MOU encompasses a range of zero-carbon technologies, emphasizing emerging innovations such as hydrogen energy and carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS).
Additionally, the collaboration seeks to utilize expertise from the Hong Kong Offshore LNG Terminal to position the city as a leading green maritime fuel bunkering center. This partnership could significantly influence Hong Kong's energy landscape and accelerate its decarbonization efforts.
