Coffey Completes Upgrades at Dunleer St. Brigid's Wastewater Pumping Station for Uisce Éireann
Coffey has completed upgrades at Dunleer St. Brigid's Wastewater Pumping Station as part of Uisce Éireann's Growth Programme. The project modernizes the facility to support future growth, enhancing safety and operational efficiency. Key improvements include new safety features, replacement of critical infrastructure, and installation of advanced monitoring systems. Additionally, Coffey is shortlisted for the Irish Construction Excellence Awards for the Enfield Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion, which features innovative sludge management solutions.

Coffey has finalized upgrade works at Dunleer St. Brigid's Wastewater Pumping Station under Uisce Éireann's Growth and Development Programme. The enhancements focus on modernizing the facility for future residential and commercial growth, including improved safety features and new infrastructure.
The project involved the installation of new external lighting, safety systems, and operational equipment. Coffey is also recognized in the Irish Construction Excellence Awards for its work on the Enfield Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion, implementing 11 Sludge Drying Reed Beds for sustainable sludge management. This project achieved significant environmental benefits, including reduced HGV journeys and energy savings, while maintaining service continuity during construction.
