Cogent Communications has completed the conversion of legacy Sprint switch sites into data centers but has canceled a sale agreement for two facilities initially set to be sold for $144 million. The buyer's request for over 50% of the purchase price in owner financing was not acceptable to Cogent.

The company is now in discussions with multiple interested parties for other offers. Cogent's total revenue for Q4 2025 was $240.5 million, with annual revenue reaching $975.8 million and a quarterly EBITDA of $51.7 million.
