Collins Aerospace Secures $62M Contract for C-130 Cargo Plane Brakes
Collins Aerospace has been awarded a $62 million firm-fixed-price contract by the Defense Logistics Agency for C-130 cargo plane brakes. The orders will support the Air Force, with deliveries aiding operations in the Middle East. The company recently established parts distribution agreements with Integrated Procurement Technologies, S3 AeroDefense, and Derco to enhance C-130 production support. Collins Aerospace's Troy facility, employing 620, produces wheels and brakes for over 30,000 aircraft.

Collins Aerospace has received a $62 million firm-fixed-price contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to supply brakes for the Air Force's C-130 cargo planes. This contract will support operations in the Middle East.
In January, Collins entered into three-year agreements with Integrated Procurement Technologies, S3 AeroDefense, and Derco to assist in parts distribution for C-130 production. The Troy facility, which employs 620 people, manufactures wheels and brakes for more than 30,000 military and commercial aircraft. The facility has been part of Collins Aerospace since 2018, following the split of United Technologies.
