Colombian Earthquake Relief: $3 Billion Funded by Angelitos de Luz Foundation and Mining Sector
The Angelitos de Luz Foundation, in partnership with six companies, is allocating $3 billion for earthquake relief in Colombia. This initiative includes 8,000 food kits, housing reconstruction, and support for basic needs in affected communities.

The Angelitos de Luz Foundation has mobilized $3 billion in collaboration with six mining and food companies to assist families impacted by the earthquake in Colombia. This includes the distribution of 8,000 food kits totaling over 12 tons of nutritional food, comprising various meat products and non-perishables.
Areas receiving aid include Manizales, Supía, Riosucio, and Titiribí, focusing on families severely affected by the earthquake. Additionally, resources will support housing reconstruction and basic needs for the victims.
Participating companies include Aris Mining, Le Calvane Colombia, Fiore Group, Copper Giant, Denarius Metals, and Libero Cobre. The collective response highlights a commitment to both immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts.
