Zona Franca del Plata has officially started the construction of the first wooden office building in the Río de la Plata, with an investment of US$ 21 million. Scheduled to open in late 2026, the project is strategically located at Rambla de las Américas and Eloy Perazza.

The building aims for sustainable growth, featuring advanced architecture, energy efficiency, and reduced carbon footprint. The construction is led by Atchugarry in partnership with French company Simonin, known for its expertise in wooden construction.

Utilizing mass timber technology, the building will have five floors, covering 11,500 m² with 8,900 m² available for lease, accommodating around 100 companies and creating approximately 1,000 jobs. It will include flexible offices, a business center, its own data center, a café, electric chargers, and water recycling systems, with an official opening planned for late 2026.
