Colt Technology Services is expanding its fiber network around Frankfurt, adding 200 kilometers of fiber optic lines in the Rhein-Main area over the next few years. This initiative aims to connect newly established data center locations east of Frankfurt and enhance bandwidth to existing sites in Frankfurt, Hattersheim, and Schwalbach.

The expansion is a response to the growing demand for data usage in the region, with completion expected by 2028. Colt, which pioneered broadband technology in Germany, continues to support Frankfurt's development as a major data hub in Europe.
