Colusa Indian Energy and Strata Expanse Form First Tribal Partnership for AI Infrastructure
Colusa Indian Energy and Strata Expanse have partnered to build an AI Center of Excellence on tribal land, marking a significant step towards economic diversification for the Colusa Indian Community. This initiative includes plans to enhance energy generation capacity to over 100 MW within 18 months.

Colusa Indian Energy and Strata Expanse announced a partnership to develop energy and digital infrastructure on the land of the Cachil Dehe Band of Wintun Indians. The collaboration includes deploying an Amphix™ Center of Excellence (CoE) designed for AI workloads, with plans to expand onsite energy generation to over 100 MW in the next 18 months.
The CoE will serve as an incubator for AI technologies and a test bed for advanced data center operations. Key partners include RAVEL and Available Infrastructure, focusing on sustainable practices and minimizing environmental impacts. This partnership sets a model for other Tribal Nations to follow in AI and energy infrastructure development.
