Completion of 7.6km Water Main Upgrade in County Waterford
A 7.6km drinking water main upgrade in County Waterford has been completed to enhance supply and quality. This project addresses inadequate infrastructure supporting developing areas and aims to prevent future water-related issues.

Uisce Eireann has finished constructing a 7.6km water main connecting Dunhill to the Ballyvadden Reservoir in County Waterford. This project addresses the insufficient drinking water network previously serving Ballylaneen, Bunmahon, Kill, and Annestown, which faced multiple supply and quality issues.
A new booster pump has also been installed in Dunhill to help meet current and future demand. The initiative aligns with Uisce Eireann's broader national strategy for water supply improvements in regional areas, which is critical for preventing boil water and do not consume notices previously issued.
