Comtech Delivers First EDIM Modems to U.S. Army Under $48.6 Million Contract
Comtech Telecommunications Corp. has delivered the first Enterprise Digital Intermediate Frequency Multicarrier (EDIM) modems to the U.S. Army as part of a $48.6 million contract. This delivery is a significant step in modernizing military satellite communications and supports Final Acceptance Testing scheduled for summer 2026. The EDIM modems, designed to replace outdated systems, will enhance performance across multiple satellite providers. Three modems will be used for integration and training development.
