Confartigianato Veneto Advocates for Youth Support in Regional Budget Approval
Confartigianato Imprese Veneto endorses the regional budget focused on training and production support, while urging enhanced assistance for youth and generational turnover. Key investments include €27 million for districts and startups, alongside €109 million for vocational education, addressing a labor demand mismatch over 60%.

Confartigianato Imprese Veneto has positively assessed the regional budget approved by the administration, emphasizing its allocation of resources towards training, healthcare, and production support. The budget includes €27 million directed at districts and innovative startups, €6 million for women's employment, and €31 million for energy efficiency.
Vocational education receives €109 million to help address a labor market mismatch exceeding 60%. The association points out that only 11.6% of Veneto's businesses have undergone generational changes in the last six years, with 36.4% of entrepreneurs over 60.
They advocate for stronger measures to support generational transition, free from age constraints. Additionally, they welcome a new Data Center initiative in Padova, expected to boost employment in related sectors. Confartigianato also highlights that Veneto faces a negative human capital balance of nearly €5 billion over the past decade, urging increased incentives for youth labor market entry.
