ConFlow Launches AI-Integrated Solar Streetlights to Address Data Center Energy Needs
ConFlow's iLamps utilize a solar panel and AI technology to form a virtual power plant network, targeting 500,000 units by 2027. This initiative aims to meet the growing energy demand from data centers while providing local authorities with green utilities.

ConFlow is deploying its AI-equipped solar streetlights, known as iLamps, in Nigeria, the UK, and the United States, with plans for half a million units by next year. Each iLamp, equipped with a 600 W solar panel and Nvidia processor, generates approximately $4,500 annually and charges $0.49 per compute hour for AI inference services.
This system allows local governments to access a range of data-based services, such as traffic monitoring and security, while creating green utilities at low rates. ConFlow is expanding its reach to countries including Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, India, and Kenya, although regulatory hurdles remain a challenge. The technology promises to reduce energy costs and environmental impact compared to traditional data centers by decentralizing computing power.
