Connected Energy is developing the UK's most advanced second-life battery testing facility at Scottow Enterprise Park in Norfolk. This £2 million project, supported by the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK, aims to test batteries from various EV manufacturers and integrate them into grid-scale storage. The facility is expected to be operational by mid-2026 and will also house a 5MWh battery energy storage system to provide insights into the repurposing of end-of-life EV batteries for renewable energy applications.
