Connected Minerals Acquires Frontier Group to Boost Niobium and Rare Earth Assets in Angola
Connected Minerals Ltd has executed a Share Sale Agreement to acquire 100% of Frontier Group CRM Pty Ltd, enhancing its access to the Bailundo Carbonatite Project in Angola. This acquisition positions Connected to leverage growing global demand for niobium and rare earth elements, key to high-tech applications.

Connected Minerals Ltd is acquiring Frontier Group CRM Pty Ltd, which has an 80% stake in the Bailundo Carbonatite Project in Angola. This project spans approximately 39 square kilometers and features high-grade niobium and rare earth mineralization, with samples showing up to 2.1% Nb₂O₅.
The company plans to raise $4.5 million to support exploration activities, with drilling scheduled for August 2026. A general meeting on 28 July 2026 will decide on the acquisition and funding. Compliance with the Angolan Mining Code is necessary to expand the exploration licence to include niobium and rare earth elements, impacting project timelines and strategic plans.
