Construction Begins on 220/110/10 kV Substation in Dushanbe
The Gharbi substation project in Dushanbe aims to enhance local electricity reliability and reduce existing substation loads.

Construction has commenced on the Gharbi electrical substation in Dushanbe, which will operate at 220/110/10 kV. Implemented by Tajemhydroelektromontazh (TGEM), the project addresses the need for improved electricity reliability in the western city area and aims to alleviate pressure on current substations 'Nav' and 'Daryokanor.'
The initiative includes installing advanced equipment such as autotransformers, creating distribution devices, and laying cable lines. Auxiliary infrastructures, including administrative premises, will also be developed. This project is significant for modernizing Dushanbe's energy system, potentially stabilizing electricity supply for residents and businesses.
