Construction Begins on World's First 1,000-Ton Magnesium Hydride Production Line in Yulin, China
Construction has begun on the world's first 1,000-ton magnesium hydride production line in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, led by Dalian Fude Jinyu New Energy Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 248 million yuan. This facility aims to produce 2,000 tons of magnesium hydride annually, supporting advancements in hydrogen energy storage and transportation in China, and builds on the foundation established by a previous 100-ton pilot production line.

The world's first 1,000-ton-scale magnesium hydride production line has commenced construction in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. The project, led by Dalian Fude Jinyu New Energy Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 248 million yuan, aims to produce 2,000 tons of magnesium hydride (MgH₂) annually.
Key participants include the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Yulin CAS Clean Energy Innovation Research Institute, and Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering Co., Ltd. This initiative is crucial for advancing hydrogen energy storage and transportation in China.
Previously, Fude Jinyu operated a 100-ton pilot production line, establishing a foundation for this larger scale project. The new facility is part of a strategic move to leverage Yulin's mineral resources and favorable business environment.
