COOEC Secures $4B LNG Contract from QatarEnergy in Partnership with Saipem
China's Offshore Oil Engineering (COOEC) has won a $4 billion contract from QatarEnergy LNG, in collaboration with Italy's Saipem. The five-year project involves constructing two compressor platforms and related facilities in Qatar's North Field. COOEC's share of the contract is over $800 million, covering the main facilities and part of the design and procurement work.

China's Offshore Oil Engineering (COOEC) has secured a $4 billion contract from QatarEnergy LNG, partnering with Italy's Saipem. The five-year project will involve the construction of two compressor platforms and associated facilities in Qatar's North Field, the largest non-associated natural gas field globally. COOEC's portion of the contract is more than $800 million, focusing on building the main facilities and handling part of the design and procurement tasks.
