Cooperativa Eléctrica do Vale D'Este modernized its data center and adopted Fortinet's unified security architecture to enhance cybersecurity. The implementation, completed in three months without service interruptions, is part of CEVE's digital modernization program. The upgraded architecture includes FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP, improving network visibility and incident response capabilities. The initiative addresses regulatory pressures in the energy sector and aims to bolster the resilience of critical infrastructure.

Cooperativa Eléctrica do Vale D'Este (CEVE) modernized its data center and implemented Fortinet's Security Fabric and Security Operations Center-as-a-Service to enhance cybersecurity. This project, part of CEVE's digital modernization program, was completed in three months without service interruptions.
The new architecture features FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP, improving network segmentation and security management. It also includes endpoint protection with FortiClient and FortiEDR, as well as enhanced remote access security with multi-factor authentication. CEVE aims to address regulatory pressures and improve resilience in the energy sector.
