Copper Giant Resources Confirms Mocoa Resource Expansion and Completes 2025 Exploration Program
Copper Giant Resources Corp. has confirmed significant resource expansion at its Mocoa porphyry project in Colombia, with drill results indicating continuous copper and molybdenum mineralization over 1,000 vertical metres. Notably, drill hole MD-054 exceeded expectations, reporting substantial grades that surpass the 2026 mineral resource estimate. The successful 2025 exploration program, totaling 11,400 metres of drilling, has set the stage for a fully permitted drill program in 2026 aimed at resource conversion and further exploration.

Copper Giant Resources Corp. has announced assay results from drill holes MD-053 and MD-054 at the Mocoa porphyry project in Putumayo, Colombia. The drilling has confirmed continuous copper and molybdenum mineralization extending over 1,000 vertical metres, supporting the project's advancement beyond the one-billion-tonne resource mark.
MD-053, targeting the La Estrella area, intersected grades of 300 to 1,500 ppm Cu and 30 to 55 ppm Mo, confirming geological continuity. MD-054 demonstrated stronger-than-expected mineralization, reporting 61 metres at 0.61% CuEq* and 253 metres at 0.40% CuEq*, exceeding the 2026 mineral resource estimate.
The 2025 exploration program, which totaled 11,400 metres of drilling, successfully achieved all strategic objectives. The company is now planning a fully permitted 2026 drill program focused on resource conversion and further exploration.
